Shipping Policy

At PRINTMIMIC, we are a “make-to-order” business. This means we do not keep shelves of finished inventory; your parts are manufactured specifically for you after your order is placed. Because of this, our shipping process involves two steps: Production and Transit.

1. Production Time (Lead Time)

Before your order can be shipped, it must be printed, cleaned, and inspected.

  • Standard Production Time: Most orders are processed and printed within 2-5 business days.

  • Large/Complex Orders: Orders containing large parts (requiring 24h+ print times) or high quantities may require additional production time. We will contact you if your order is expected to take longer than 7 business days.

  • Rush Production: If you selected a “Rush Service” option at checkout, your order is moved to the front of the print queue.

Please note: Production times do not include weekends or holidays.

2. Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout based on the weight of the package and your location.

Domestic Shipping (USA):

Standard (USPS/Courier) 3-5 business days
Expedited (UPS/FedEx Ground) 2-4 business days
Express 1-2 business days

Note: The “Estimated Transit Time” starts after the production is finished and the carrier has picked up the package.

3. International Shipping

We offer international shipping to most countries.

  • Customs, Duties, and Taxes:

    PRINTMIMIC is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, VAT, etc.).

  • Delays:

    International shipments may be subject to customs clearance procedures which can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates.

4. Shipment Confirmation & Order Tracking

You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has finished printing and a shipping label has been created. The email will contain your tracking number(s). The tracking number will typically become active within 24 hours.

5. P.O. Boxes and APO/FPO Addresses

  • USPS: We can ship to P.O. Boxes and APO/FPO addresses via USPS.

  • Private Carriers: Please note that UPS and FedEx generally do not deliver to P.O. Boxes. If you select one of these carriers, please provide a physical street address.

6. Damages in Transit

We package our 3D prints carefully using bubble wrap and sturdy boxes, but accidents happen.

If your order arrives damaged:

  1. Save all packaging materials and damaged goods. (The shipping carrier often requires photos of the box to process an insurance claim).

  2. Take clear photos of the damaged item and the box.

  3. Contact us immediately at [email protected] so we can file a claim and start a reprint for you.

7. Lost or Stolen Packages

PRINTMIMIC is not liable for packages that are marked as “Delivered” by the carrier but are missing (e.g., stolen from a porch). However, we want to help:

  • If your tracking says “Delivered” but you don’t have it, please wait 24 hours (carriers sometimes mark items early).

  • Check with neighbors or your building manager.

  • If it is still missing, please contact the carrier directly to file a claim.

8. Wrong Address Disclaimer

It is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure that the shipping address entered is correct. We do our best to speed up processing and shipping time, so there is always a small window to correct an incorrect shipping address. Please contact us immediately at [email protected] if you believe you have provided an incorrect shipping address.
